Many Albertans with disabilities on our waiting list require equipment to continue to live with their families in their community. Unfortunately, Individuals on our waiting list are waiting an average of one year before we can provide them with this necessary equipment.
Fortunately, Easter Seals Alberta has a successful Recycled Equipment Program allowing us to refurbish and recycle used equipment to many individuals. This has enabled our organization to reduce waiting lists in a cost-effective manner.
If you have a porch lift, stair lift, van lift, power wheelchair, power scooter or other adaptive equipment that is in good working order and is less than 10 years old please consider donating it to our Equipment and Support Services Program. We will provide you with a tax receipt for the current market value of the equipment you donate. For more information on our Recycled Equipment Program please contact:
