The 26th annual Easter Seals We Care Ball will be held on Friday, April 20, 2012 at the Palomino Room, BMO Centre, Stampede Park.

The annual We Care Ball in Calgary is a fundraising dinner and dance event unlike any other. Hosted by the Calgary Academy of Chefs and Cooks, the most talented chefs in the finest restaurants in Calgary join together for one night and make culinary magic for Easter Seals kids.

Guests will enjoy dancing to music by the band “Fun in the Front Seat”, a Champagne Reception, Silent Auction and a Decadent Dessert Buffet.

In Canada between 2001 and 2006 the number of persons who reported having a disability increased by three-quarters of a million people (+21.2%), reaching 4.4 million in 2006. At the same time, the non-disabled population experienced lesser growth, increasing by 3.3% to reach 26.2 million people.
