Thanks to generous Canadians, last year Easter Seals Camp Horizon enriched the lives of almost 1,600 individuals with disabilities and special needs including cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, multiple sclerosis, spina bifida, ostomies, kidney impairments, hearing loss, augmentative communications, Crohn’s and Colitis, learning and developmental disabilities, cancer and diabetes.

Your donations mean that more children and adults of all abilities can experience the unique opportunity for challenge and success in customized outdoor adventures.

Unlike other summer camp programs, Easter Seals Camp Horizon requires a higher counsellor to camper ratio, additional medical staff as well as specialized equipment.

Easter Seals Camp Horizon subsidizes the cost of sending every child to camp by 50% therefore, we rely on the support of the community to make our camp programs possible. Financial contributions enable us to keep fees affordable to our campers.

Become a Sponsor

Our sponsorship program provides corporations and other groups with special recognition including the opportunity to provide total funding and naming opportunities for a unique camp. Consider providing funding for:

• Full Camp Sponsorship (up to 65 kids)
• Half Week of Camp Sponsorship (up to 65 kids)
• Day of Camp Sponsorship (up to 65 kids)
• Send a kid to Camp for a week
• Send a Kid to Camp for a day

Organize a Special Event

Many individuals and organizations support Easter Seals Camp Horizon by organizing special events and fundraisers to help raise money and awareness. Have a great idea for a unique event? Want to organize a gathering of friends and family for a good cause? Some examples of special events being organized on our behalf in the community includes: golf tournaments, bake sales, endurance challenges/mountain adventures, and collection bins. The possibilities are only limited by your imagination.

Donate Goods and Services

Donations of gifts in kind are always welcome. Throughout the year, the camp is asked to supply silent auction items and door prizes for events that are supporting the camp. Other items may also be useful in Camp’s everyday operations.
